A former grocery store in the Canyon Rim area of Millcreek underwent extensive modifications in order to house the new Momentum Millcreek Indoor Climbing Gym. The structural renovation included lifting the roof from 24 feet to 55 feet. Steel was installed as both a structural and visual element.

Layton's Interior Construction Specialists (ICS) constructed the structural steel frame for the climbing areas, with the panels premanufactured and installed by a European company.

The facility houses the climbing area with 50-foot tall walls, a bouldering area with up to 18-foot walls and a strength training loft above the locker rooms. There is also a kids climbing area with different climbing levels based on the shape of the foot/hand holds.
